IWA-pavilion marked by the Archery World Championships
This year’s exhibition pavilion of the German Shooting and Archery Federation at the 34th International Trade Fair for Hunting and Sporting Arms, Outdoor Articles and Accessories – in short IWA – was marked by the 44th Outdoor Archery World Championships, which will be hold in Leipzig from 7th to 15th July 2007.
Not only did the complete design of the pavilion point to the upcoming archery mega-event, but also will many international visitors be back in Germany in about four months fighting together with their teams as officials, trainers, physios or athletes for medals and titels.
DSB General Secretary Jörg Brokamp (Photo right) could welcome Carlos Beato Freitas (Photo left), president of the Portuguese National Archery Federation, at the DSB pavilion, who was very interested in the state of affairs regarding the German Shooting Federation’s preparations and plans.
The German Shooting Federation’s pavilion at the largest European trade fair with the central theme of the 44th Outdoor Archery World Championships in Leipzig was generally seen as a success.
