World Championships under the aegis of Chancellor Merkel
The 44th Outdoor Archery World Championships will be held in Leipzig on July 7-15 under the aegis of German Chancellor Angela Merkel. She has sent her approval and her greetings to the President of the German Shooting and Archery Federation Josef Ambacher.
President Ambacher: “I am very happy that Chancellor Merkel has taken over this position, because it shows the support of the German government for our event and the increasing importance of the discipline archery in Germany.”
The Championships will take place in July at the “Festwiese” of the City of Leipzig.
